DON'T FORGET APPROACHING DEADLINES...

At http://www.teamtwintowers.org/ you'll find the raffle
that's raising money for the rally on September 10th and
their design competition that's still accepting email votes
(without prejudice to any other designs that meet WTCRM
criteria,my favorite OF THEIR FINALISTS is "All One All
Free").

Pace University's Meghan French is taking reservations
for the (Free!) "Aftershock" conference shortly before
the rally,including the Crain's breakfast on September 6;
WE NEED PRO-REBUILDING VOICES THERE.

Her address is mfrench@pace.edu so write in!

She has told me that the program for Aftershock
(now on the web at

and still being updated) has no room for us to be on
the panels but we MUST provide a negative view of
anti-rebuilding/pro-official-plan speakers at key
events...it is also a prime opportunity to make sure
press in attendance are aware of the rally.

Rally planning saw several of us get together at the
site (Central Park band shell) last weekend.Literature
and press releases are being prepared.

The officials are continuing to make efforts to ensure
that the 16 acres are wasted according to their specifications;
football player Vinnie Testaverde is to do a memorial-foundation
television commercial.

New Orleans mayor Ray Nagin is on 60 Minutes Sunday and his
remark about New York being unable to rebuild has gotten quite
a bit of press (with the likes of Rampe claiming the official
planning disgrace is great progress).It's not clear how Nagin
feel New York SHOULD rebuild.(Twin Towers Alliance signatures
continue to roll in daily though...if you can get friends to
sign on please do!)

Bloomberg is complaining about Spitzer "meddling" in ongoing
projects,we just need to get the meddling in the right direction:
